Computer Camp 2016
SABAH COMPUTER SOCIETY ANNUAL COMPUTER CAMP 2016 Sabah Computer Society will be holding its 9th Annual Computer Camp for senior citizens on 4-6 November, 2016 in Kota Kinabalu. Free for all participants and limited to 40 seats only, the camp is sponsored by the Ministry of Resource Development and IT. This year the theme is "REACHING OUT", and campers will learn at beginner levels about cloud computing, social messaging, online note-taking and mobile phone security. Campers will be treated to a two-night stay at a 4-star hotel in Kota Kinabalu with all meals provided. Cash prizes will be awarded to winners of competitions to be held during the camp. Applicants must fulfill the following criteria: 1) 55 years old and above 2) Own a smart phone with data plan 3) Beginners in the use of smart phones 4) Ability to understand and communicate in English 5) Sabah resident Preference will be given to those who have not attended previous camps. Applications from outside of Kota Kinabalu are very much welcomed but transportation costs must be borne by the participants. Late entries will be disqualify. All applications must read and fulfill all the stipulated criteria stated in the Application Form before submitting to us. Our Organising Committee reserved the right to reject, select and short-list the participants at our best discretion.
